Dual-purpose formula for natural aromatic protection and rapid post-bite comfort.

What it does

Before outdoor exposure – Creates an aromatic protective barrier. Lemon-Scented Eucalyptus and Lavender compounds traditionally associated with reduced insect attention. Beeswax shields skin from environmental stress.

After bites occur – Delivers rapid cooling comfort to aggravated skin. Lavender and Royal Jelly calm reactive areas. Discomfort diminishes within minutes – skin feels settled, comfortable. Cooling botanicals replace the urge to scratch with soothing relief.

Why it works

Lemon-Scented Eucalyptus Oil – Contains naturally occurring PMD (p-menthane-3,8-diol) – the botanical compound traditionally used in insect-deterrent formulations for centuries. Creates aromatic environments insects naturally avoid.

Lavender Oil – Traditionally valued for calming reactive skin. Delivers a cooling comfort sensation that replaces discomfort. Naturally occurring linalool and linalyl acetate compounds settle aggravated tissue.

Royal Jelly – Provides 18 amino acids that condition and fortify exposed skin. Maintains barrier integrity during outdoor activity.

FAQs

How do I use Bush BEE (Bug Bite)?

Before outdoor exposure – Warm small amount between palms. Massage into ankles, wrists, elbows, back of neck – areas insects typically target. Rich balm melts on contact. Re-apply every 2 hours or as needed.

After insect bites – Apply directly to the affected area. Cooling comfort begins immediately – discomfort typically fades within 5-10 minutes. Aggravated skin settles. Reapply as needed for continued relief sensation.

Avoid face and broken skin. External use only. Wash hands after application. If irritation occurs or persists, discontinue use and seek medical advice.

Who is it best for?

For outdoor enthusiasts who want natural aromatic protection and rapid post-bite comfort.

What is Royal Jelly and why is it in skincare?

Royal Jelly is the nutrient-rich substance that sustains Queen Bees throughout their lives. It contains naturally occurring proteins, amino acids, and fatty acids. We include it in every formula because it's one of nature's most concentrated bioactive ingredients - prized for generations in skincare traditions.

How do I use a balm if I'm used to creams?

Warm a small amount between fingertips until it melts slightly, then press gently onto skin. Balms work differently than creams - they create a protective layer that supports your skin barrier while delivering concentrated ingredients. Start with less than you think you need.

How should I store balms?

Keep your balm at room temperature away from direct heat or sunlight. The natural ingredients remain stable without refrigeration. If your balm becomes very soft in summer heat, it will re-solidify when cooled - this doesn't affect quality.

Important Note – Not a registered insect repellent.

This product is not registered with APVMA as an insect repellent. It is a cosmetic balm that creates aromatic barrier protection through naturally occurring botanical compounds traditionally associated with deterring insects. For registered insect repellent products, consult your pharmacist.
